Hello, I want to change the background color.
For this I set the color yellow for one layer but the background color is still black.

How do you change the background color of the tilemap (not the tileset)?

You’re changing the **layer tint color** , which is the colour by which tiles in layers are _tinted_ - you almost always want to leave this at the default, as this colourises your tiles! This is **not** a background colour.

Open the Map Properties via Map \> Map Properties, and set the Background Color there.
