# Example files for the itch version

I guess I didn’t read the manual. Could we have examples included with the itch version? Doesn’t make sense to download Tiled two or three times to make sure we have everything.

Are you talking about the itch version for Linux? Since the itch versions for Windows and macOS do in fact include the example files.
So far I was distributing an [AppImage](https://appimage.org/) for Linux on itch, but since recently I have switched to just uploading the AppDir, mainly to make the other executables shipping with Tiled more accessible. I guess it would make sense to also ship the examples in there now.

Yes, I was talking about the Linux version. I’m not very well-versed in Linux packaging, so it’s nice to have something like itch that works on all distros.
