Hi everyone, just to let you know that we’ll apply this year again as an organization in the **Google Summer of Code 2022** for the third time. We were accepted in [GSoC 2017](http://discourse.mapeditor.org/t/google-summer-of-code-2017/1979) and rejected in [GSoC 2018](http://discourse.mapeditor.org/t/google-summer-of-code-2018-introductions/2972). hopefully, we’ll be accepted again this year.

This thread is intended for self-introductions, please read the wiki before posting.

If you are interested in helping as a mentor, please contact me or contact @bjorn.

If you have an idea that you want to see implemented or are interested in any specific feature, please use the [issues list in github](https://github.com/mapeditor/tiled/issues) and use the tag **feature**.

This is a great opportunity to get someone to work full-time paid for some months on **Tiled**. For any student new to open-source development, it’s also a great opportunity to get some relevant experience in software development and get paid to help an open-source organization.
