# Terrain tool not working on mac (v 0.17.0)

Hi,

I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I have created a couple of terrains successfully. I choose terrains tab and click a terrain - my one is called stone which i created tmw\_desert\_spacing.png

After clicking the terrain, the terrain brush tool is activated above but i can’t draw anything on the map.

I created a 32 x 32 map with 50 x 50 tiles

I am using mac os x 10.11.16

I have followed a lot of tutorials and it appears I am doing it right but nothing is working.

Can anyone help ?

When moving the cursor over the grid, it doesn’t even show what I am supposed to be painting with the brush…

I also followed this to the letter 🙂

Well I rebooted and started again and all is working 🙂

That is really strange, but it’s good to hear you’ve gotten it to work! It does leave me curious as to what the real problem was.
