# Tile grid allignment issues

Some tile sets don’t line up correctly on the tile set grid. Is there any way to alter the tile set grid?

You can alter the tileset grid in the Tileset properties:

When I use this feature the map shrinks. I just want to shift the grid lines.

Ah, you confused me by saying “tile set grid” before, but it seems you’re talking about the map grid. Currently, there is only one fixed tile layer grid per map, though in the future I hope to support tile layers with different grid sizes on a single map. This is covered by the following GitHub issue:
