Let’s say I have a 4x4 tile selection and I want to click and drag to paint with this selection, but I want it to move on a 4x4 grid instead of moving 1 tile at a time

Example: [2025-02-26 13-12-20.mp4 - Google Drive](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Lulpbt4ejADNprh058oE6r7ZkGP6o-eX/view?usp=sharing) here I’m moving 4 tiles and then clicking over and over, but I’d like to just click and drag.

In fact I can’t think why you would ever drag a selection around and have it _not_ snap like this

It’s a good suggestion, but it should be a toggle since there will surely be cases where you don’t want that kind of snapping.

Tiled does do this kind of snapping when you draw straight lines (holding Shift), but of course that’s only moderately useful.

The current behaviour has its uses too, I posted one example in the feature request linked above. I definitely want to see an _option_ to avoid the smudge/overlap though.
