i think i did everything correctly but even when i select a tile from the tileset tab and try the stamp tool, nothing happens. here is a screenshot.
It looks like you might be scrolled to out of map bounds, so you can’t paint there. Scroll up.
It’s generally a good idea to keep View > Show Grid enabled all the time and only briefly hide it to see your map better, so you can easily tell where you are in relation to your map.
