How do I get the UI back?

This is incredibly frustrating - the tabs for loading tile sets have disappeared, and i have pressed almost every button on screen to try and get the menu back - this is a really bad first experience. I’ve looked in the user manual and hot keys and cannot find anything about the toggling of menus.

Any help would be appreciated thanks

Looks like you enabled Clear Mode. Press Tab to toggle it, which is probably how you enabled it in the first place.

Hmm, the “Clear View” action also hides the menu bar so they might have just closed the individual views.

There’s two ways to get them back:

• Right-click the tool bar, which pops up a context menu where you can toggle the visibility of toolbars and views.
• Open the menu View → Views and Toolbars, which also provides such toggles in addition to an action that resets them to their default layout.

You’re right. It would be nice to have the toggles visible somewhere, though that’d also add some visual clutter and unfortunately there’s no standard support for this in the framework. Barring that it would be good to document the above.
