Edit: Fixed my issue by adding the suggested margin to the example tileset

You must have missed some information in the section about creating a map and adding the tikeset:

Then, add the tmw_desert_spacing.png example tileset. This tileset uses a margin and spacing of 1 pixel (which is only to test if this functionality works, not because I’d recommend doing that).

The screenshots are outdated so the layout may be a bit unfamiliar, but “margin” and “spacing” need to be set to 1 px for this tileset.
