Ability to "bake" objects made using object template function into the map itself?

Is there or could it be added next release? I’m asking because loading engine I’m using doesn’t support templates yet (if ever as dev of it seems to be unreachable). So I’d need a way to bake object template instances into regular tiled objects if I’d want to use this feature (and I do as this will make explanation for modding my game easier).

It could be added as an export option, just like we could add an “embed tilesets on export” option. Though in the case of templates, that could mean a large amount of data duplication in a single map. But indeed it would be useful as a (possibly temporary) backwards-compatibility solution.
