Recently I’ve been very interested in oblique perspective looks for games. I’ve always tried adapting tiled tilesets for the games we make because is such a good tool.
Would it be possible to have an oblique perspective feature similar to the isometric one?
For those of you wondering what is that perspective here is an example:
Right now I’m trying out a workaround using square tiles, but of course calculating deph is a pain, and also a it is a bit of pain to paint on it with square tiles…
What do you guys think? any suggestion in working like this?
