YES!!! Thank you for the list in properties. Exactly what I needed for my metroidvania toolkit I’m working on.

I have it so basically an entire metroidvania can be made in tiled and exported to defold. I couldn’t have done it without Tiled!

Entering expressions into fields is absolutely the best new feature – in fact, was just thinking “Tiled could really use this” and debating whether to open an issue for it when 1.12 was released and suddenly it has it. So, that’s great! List properties are also pretty nice as well.

On the other hand…

For me at least, this is a net negative that hurts workflow rather than helping. I realize this is very subjective, and I’m sure there exist situations where it’s a great, must-have feature; but for me, expand from centre only ever gets in my way. My common workflow (whether in Tiled or GIMP) is “select area with mouse, copy with Cmd+C”. With expand from centre, that results in copying the wrong area, probably about 30% of the time – because I just happened to hit the Cmd key before I released the mouse button.

I would very much like an option to either disable this “feature” or change the keybinding.

You’ve been opening quite a few issues lately, and I’d suggest you open one for this as well. I hadn’t realized this could become problematic in that way.
