Brightness of different layers different

Hey there,

Currently whenever I try to create a new layer and start putting my tiles down, the brightness of each layer is different. As in, the brightness of the current layer selected is correct however the layer underneath it is darker and the one above it is slightly transparent.

Is there a way I can disable this and have all the layers the same brightness?

You can toggle the highlighting of the current layer by pressing ‘H’ on your keyboard. It should also be in a menu somewhere, though I’m not sure where, as I always use the shortcut.
