Convert square orthagenic tile to isometric without Blender

Hey guys, for some reason I can’t get Blender to work on my computer…

I was wondering there is a way to make an isometric tile out of a square image with GIMP or some other program?

I tried with GIMP but the tile wouldn’t work in Tiled for some reason.

Can anyone help

What was the error message or what problem did you observe? Which image format did you try to use?

not sure if thats your problem but
a square image can be converted to isometric by rotating it 45º and then decreasing it’s height by 50% (can be a little more or less depending on your grid)
