I searched in the forum that question and the work around was to copy/paste which is not ideal.
Are there any updates on that topic? It would be much easier to be able to dinamically move things around without ctr+X, ctr+V each time as many users pointed out.

Nope.
I’ve written a scripted Move Tiles Tool for this: tiled-scripts/Move Tiles Tool at main · eishiya/tiled-scripts · GitHub, but I personally find cut+paste faster because it doesn’t require swapping to yet another tool after switching to a selection tool.
Cool, i will try out your script. I have a moon lander keyboard that allows to pass macros to a key, so I might remap first to selection tool and then to yours in a sequence., If that’s how it works.
