I was checking the Tiled installation system and noticed the NSIS software is used to generate the executable file (.exe).
After analyzing the NSIS, I decided to ask if the ‘Inno Setup’ software would be an interesting alternative for generating the installation executable.
Inno Setup uses Pascal language for scripting.

Well, I don’t know much about Inno Setup but I would love to use a better alternative to NSIS. The NSIS installer has some issues, is showing its age and it uses a rather obscure language to define what it shall do.
Are you familiar with building installers based on Inno Setup or would you be able to help trying it out?
Another alternative I’ve been considering would be to try switching to an MSI file.
