Tiled becomes non-responsive and causes 100% CPU load

What operating system do you run Tiled on? Several people are experiencing performance issues on Mac.
Also the location of the configuration file is probably different per OS.

Extremly low performance on mac

Hi I recently switched to mac and the maps that I made on pc is almost impossible to edit or even navigate on my Mac. I might have to do a bootcamp partition or keep a PC just for Tiled. Tiled version 18.0 iMac (Retina 5K, 27 tum, late 2015) 3,2 GHz Intel Core i5 16GB RAM AMD Radeon R9 M380 2048 MB

Do you know if Show Tile Animations is on?
