Do I need to purchase a license when using the Tiled company?
Nope.
Tiled is under GPL. As long as you only use the compiled app there’s nothing to consider.
If you use the source code of Tiled, there may be caveats. For instance if you embed Tiled’s source code (or parts of it) in your compiled app you also need to distribute the compiled app’s source code under GPL. But that’s probably not what you’re looking into.
As Steffen said, you’re allowed and welcome to do this.
Note that you can support Tiled development with a monthly amount of your choice. The time I can afford to spend making Tiled better depends on this source of income, so it is something you or your company should consider.
