I am having this problem with Tiled on Mac OS where whenever I try to save the file it says “Could not open file for writing.” I am using the latest version of Tiled.
What could be the possible fix for this problem?
Are you trying to save directly into a folder shared with Dropbox?
No, I am not trying to save in a dropbox folder, but I was able to find out the solution to my problem. I had it set to save in Macintosh HD which made the program throw that “Could not open file for writing” error. Once I changed the save destination, I was finally able to save.
