Change tilemap background color

Hello, I want to change the background color.
For this I set the color yellow for one layer but the background color is still black.

How do you change the background color of the tilemap (not the tileset)?

You’re changing the layer tint color, which is the colour by which tiles in layers are tinted - you almost always want to leave this at the default, as this colourises your tiles! This is not a background colour.

Open the Map Properties via Map > Map Properties, and set the Background Color there.
